Facilitator - Andre Penick

 

Andre C. Penick was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1978.  Growing up he was involved in various activities in school, church, and in the community.  Some activities included boy scouts, playing sports, and playing various musical instruments.  He was also a junior deacon and member of the usher board at his local church.

 

He is a 1997 graduate of Ensley High School in Birmingham, Alabama.  He then attended The University of Alabama where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in May of 2002.  He majored in business management and minored in computing technology.  

 

 He now works with C.H.A.M.P.S. (Choosing Health and Abstinence Makes Positive Solutions), Birmingham Abstinence Education Program, where he enjoys working with students in Birmingham city schools.  He believes that all the students have a bright future if they are provided with the right information to make good decisions in life.
