Choosing the Best is a leader in abstinence and relationship education nationwide. Founded in 1993, it offers age appropriate lessons that encourage students to think about critical issues that affect them, and helps them apply new learning and insights in their own lives. Each lesson is structured to be taught in 50-minute classes and include the following programs:

·        Choosing the Best WAY – 7th Grade. SEX CAN WAIT is a two-week sexuality education program designed to promote sexual abstinence as the best decision young people can make for themselves. The curriculum is divided into three general areas of emphasis: Knowing Myself, Relating to Others, and Planning My Future. The activities in this abstinence-based program are designed to teach young people life skills that can help them to act in their own best interests in all areas of their lives. These skills involve respecting self and others, making wise decisions, communicating clearly and effectively and considering how present behavior can influence future goals and plans.
